Employment contract HCP
This template agreement can be used for nursing professionals, healthcare professionals employed (just note HPCSA limitations of types of professionals one can employ). It can be used as part0-time permanent employees (e.g. 2 afternoons a week), or as fulltime permanent employees. It is not suitable as locum agreements, as HPCSA stipulate that locums may only be employed for a maximum of 6 months.
Employment Contract Non-HCPs
This template can be used for all non-healthcare professional staff, e.g. receptionists, general office administrators, office managers / practice managers, etc. It contains provisions on overtime and leave, but may need to be supplemented with practice employment policies (in particular those on discipline and grievance).
